Platform Thirteen was founded in January of 2009 by Chris Butler.
Chris Butler is a Junior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. Majoring in Electronic Media, Arts & Communication (EMAC), and pursuing minors in both Information Technology (IT) and Music, he pulls from a wealth of experience in communication, marketing, and graphic design. In addition to numerous freelance projects, Chris has been collaborating with financial-research innovator ResearchEdge since 2008. He recently formed his own design company, Platform Thirteen, which has clients ranging from catering services to software developers.
Chris is also the Director of Public Relations for the RPI Student Senate. In this position, he creates and manages media and advertising campaigns for one of the most important organizations on the RPI campus.
